Rissi Palmer on Her ‘Color Me Country’ Radio Show

Rissi Palmer talks about her Apple Music radio show, “Color Me Country” — launched in 2020 to spotlight the contributions of underrepresented voices in country music — during a 2021 interview at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville.

“The biggest thing that I wanted to accomplish was: I knew there were stories that weren’t being told,” the singer-songwriter says, “because my story was like that.”

Palmer and “Color Me Country” were recognized in the 2021 installment of the Museum’s annual exhibition, “American Currents: State of the Music” (open March 12, 2021 through February 6, 2022).
