SteelDrivers’ Tammy Rogers on The Station Inn’s Ann Soyars

Tammy Rogers—a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and member of Grammy-winning bluegrass band the SteelDrivers—shares fond memories of Ann Soyars, the spitfire who worked the door at revered Nashville club The Station Inn for years, offering devoted support to performers and a firm hand to unruly patrons.

"Her heart was way bigger than her body," Rogers says, visiting the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in support of the exhibition "The Station Inn: Bluegrass Beacon."
